About me
My name is Matej Šipkovský and I am mainly interested in designing and implementation of the network solutions and network security for corporate clients.
I studied at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with specialization in Telecommunications, where I completed my engineering studies. During this time I have completed the Cisco CCNP Routing & Switching certification and later came with Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), CCNA Security and Fortinet Network Security Professional NSE4 certification.
Other technologies I work with
Apart from the above mentioned manufacturers, I also work with the Check Point firewall and F5 Load Balancer technologies. With server services, I work mostly on the Linux Ubuntu server platform and I use Kali Linux for penetration testing. My CV can be found on my LinkedIn profile.
Ebook and Ethical Hacking Training
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the netvel.sk blog, in May 2018 I published an Ebook entitled “Ethical Hacker’s Guide”, which describes 10 attacks on network infrastructure. This material also serves as a study material for the course “Ethical Hacking of the Network“, which I have in my offer. On this topic I lectured as an external teacher at FEI STU and FIIT STU in Bratislava.
Ebook Linux Server
In February 2019, I released the Linux Server ebook, where you will find instructions for installing and configuring 10 services on the Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS platform.
Conferences and Events
I was honored to be a speaker on several interesting events, such as the Communication Security Conference (Prague 2020), Admins: Reboot (Bratislava 2019), or in Parallel Polis (Bratislava 2018).
